Idea
In April 2008 I heard about the novel Twilight, I then read it the next month. Upon reading the rest of the series I was inspired to write my own novel.

 The whole point in the beginning was that I wanted to write a novel, there, end of story. I had a completely different idea before, though it still had dark and magical aspects, it was not about vampires what-so-ever. Just as I started brainstoming ideas for that novel I remembered about a kick-ass dream I had in 2007, before I even knew the novel Twilight existed. 

So for any of you who think I am copying Stephenie Meyer's novel, I am definatly not. Because in fact, I want to be as far away fron her story as possible, I want it to be original. What's the point in having the same story anyways? If you read the novel, it clearly does get different, and my friend Shay, whom I spoiled the whole story to agrees it is completely different.
